With the warmer weather here everyone wants to lighten up, but going blond can always be a little disappointing if not done properly. Here are a few tips on finding the shade that is right for you.
1. Never choose a look that is too solid; dimension in the hair keeps it natural and makes the grow out easier to deal with.
2. Choose a shade that is not much lighter then your natural color, this way it looks sun kissed and not artificial.
3. Always bring photos of blonds, this way there are no misunderstandings of what look you are trying to achieve.
Once you finally go blond, you want to maintain and protect it with sulfate free shampoos, deep conditioners and styling products with uv protection. These types of products will protect and condition in the summer heat and prevent it from looking damaged.
And don’t forget you want to go to a color specialist: remember your hair is your best accessory. Don’t just let anybody in the salon do it.
Check us out next month when we will give you pointers on different ways to straighten and smooth your hair. Thanks for checking us out and enjoy the summer.
